Today is the start of Movember.
Men are encouraged to grow moustaches for the month to raise funds and awareness for all the dads, brothers, sons and friends in their life.
Originally a prostate cancer initiative, it has expanded to include testicular cancer and also mental health and suicide prevention.
This year they’re asking men to move. Commit to walking or running 60 kilometres over the month. That’s 60 kilometers for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour.
Register online at Movember.ca.
