Operation Cover Up from the Salvation Army will begin distribution today.
Coats will be distributed to those in need at:
- The Salvation Army Church (46 Orangewood Blvd, Chatham) 9-4
- The Salvation Army Thrift Store (600 Lowe Ave, Wallaceburg) 9-4
- The Salvation Army Thrift Store (18 Main St. E, Ridgetown) 9-4
- Tilbury Information & Help Centre (20 Queen St., N, Tilbury) 9:30-3
Distribution will continue until Friday.

After a couple of big jumps last week, gas prices will drop 6 cents per litre.
The average price per litre in Ontario will be at 169.9.
Thunder Bay is still the priciest in the province at 179.9.
Locally, as of 5:30am: 173.9 in Chatham, 170 in Wallaceburg, Blenheim 173.9 and 165 in Tilbury.
Nobody had the winning Powerball numbers Monday night, so tonight’s draw will be for $1.2 billion. GULP!
The jackpot is the second-largest prize in Powerball’s 30-year history.
There have been 38 draws in a row with no jackpot winner. The last grand prize was to a ticket on August 3 for a $206.9 million pot.
There are no restrictions that prohibit Canadians from playing the Powerball lottery. Tickets can be bought online.
Costco is selling a 60,000 piece jigsaw puzzle.
They’re calling it the World’s Largest, the $600 puzzle is 29 feet long and a map of the world. It looks like its only available in the U.S. at the moment.
The jigsaw can be divided into 60 smaller puzzles to make it easier to tackle. It features a map of the world with different famous landmarks in place of the ocean.
