The Chatham Goodfellows annual Street Sales are this weekend.
Volunteers are selling Goodfellow papers outside of local businesses today and tomorrow.

A couple of Santa Claus parades in Chatham-Kent this weekend.
He’ll also be stopping by Ridgetown on Saturday at 1.
And Santa will be in Dresden, aka Southwestern Ontario’s Christmas Town, on Saturday at 5.
The last local parade will be next Friday evening in Thamesville.
Santa Claus will also visit Wallaceburg this weekend.
The man in red will be at Civic Square Park (779 Dufferin Ave) for Santa in the Park on Saturday. It will run 11-4pm and again next weekend on Saturday, December 17th.
The event is free to the public but there will be collectio of donations for the Wallaceburg Salvation Army.
Canada’s oldest thoroughbred race is getting a name change next year, The Queen’s Plate, after 70 years.
The $1 million stakes race will now be known as The King’s Plate. The race will be held on August 20th at Woodbine Racetrack. It’ll be the 164th running.
The change follows the death of Queen Elizabeth II and accession of King Charles III.
The first running of the Queen’s Plate was in 1860 and was named after Queen Victoria after she gave her royal assent for “a plate to the value of 50 guineas” be awarded to the winner of the 1 1/4 mile race in Toronto. A guineas is a coin minted in Great Britain.
Following each running of the race, Woodbine Entertainment sends a telegram to Buckingham Palace to let them know who had won the race. In return, they send 50 guineas to the owners of the winning horse.
The World Cup the quarter-finals begin today.
There are 8 teams left, there will be 4 by Sunday.
Croatia plays Brazil and Netherlands vs Argentina today. Tomorrow will feature Morocco vs Portugal and England and France.
The semi-finals are Tuesday and Wednesday. The World Cup final is Sunday.
France is the defending champ.
