The name was chosen out of five finalists and announced at a news conference at Red Barn Brewery in Blenheim on Friday. The official team logo will be unveiled in April.

The Chatham-Kent Blackbirds play their home opener in May of 2024.

The Super Bowl matchup is set.

The Philadelphia Eagles beat up on the San Francisco 49ers yesterday, 31 to 7. And the Kansas City Chiefs squeaked by the Cincinnati Bengals 23 to 20 with a field goal with just seconds on the clock.

Super Bowl is February 12th in Arizona.

When Zellers announced the locations of its first 25 store experiences, nostalgic fans wanted to know if the classic restaurant would also be making a come back; it is, kinda.

Twenty-five stores are set to open within Hudson’s Bay locations across Canada this spring. HBC says its not impossible to open sit-down diners inside The Bay locations, so instead, they’re providing food trucks.

You can have a say about what appears on the menu. They have listed 10 menu items and you can cast their vote over the next week to narrow the list of food items down to five.

  • Big Z Burger
  • Fries and Gravy
  • Hot Chicken Sandwich
  • Grilled Cheese Sandwich
  • Onion Rings
  • Quesadilla
  • Poutine
  • Hot Dog
  • Chicken Fingers
  • Veggie Burger

After the initial stops at the store locations, and if it’s successful and well recieved, the Zellers Diner on wheels will head out for a cross-Canada tour.

Environment Canada is saying we could see some sunshine this week.

Cloud and flurries to start the week off, before the sunshine arrives Tuesday. Still cool with a high of -4 Thursday, but we’ll take it after a cloudy, gloomy January.
