Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for Chatham-Kent and Windsor-Essex for Thursday.
Heavy rainfall and strong wind gusts are possible. A brief period of freezing rain is possible Thursday morning for areas inland from the Great Lakes. Rain will taper to showers by the evening.
Gas prices will rise 3 cents today across Ontario bringing the average up to 143.9 cents per litre.
Experts are predicting gas to reach $2 per litre by June.
Locally, as of 5:30am: in Chatham 139.9, Wallaceburg 146.6, Blenheim at 140 and Tilbury averaging 143 cents per litre.
The new Tim Hortons Apple Fritter Flavoured Cereal is now on grocery store shelves.
Not only does it taste like you’re eating the popular baked good but the cereal pieces are also mini versions of the Apple Fritter donut.
Other Tim Hortons cereals are already available: Chocolate Glazed Timbits and Birthday Cake Timbits. Both have been out since 2020.
