March 24th is the 83rd day of the year. There are 282 days remaining until the end of the year.

Environment Canada has issued a Special Weather Statement for Saturday for Chatham-Kent, Sarnia-Lambton, Windsor-Essex, Huron-Perth, as well as Elgin and Oxford counties.

Strong winds gusting up to 70 or 80 km/h are expected tomorrow. The windy weather is only expected to last a few hours.

Areas east of us, such as London-Middlesex, Elgin County, Oxford County, and Huron-Perth could get more Winter to go along with the strong wind. A storm system could bring freezing rain or snow, transitioning quickly to freezing rain. Something to think of if you have any travelling to do tomorrow.

Chatham-Kent Home and Garden Show begins today.

Show opens at the John D. Bradley Centre this afternoon 2-7, Saturday 10-6 and Sunday 10-4.

Admission is $7, under 16 is free.

General Motors is discontinuing the Chevy Camaro.

They announced they’re discontinuing it after the 2024 model because sales have dropped. The last one will roll off the production line next January.

The original Camaro came out in 1966, so it’s been around almost 60 years. And this isn’t the first time they’ve stopped making it. They did stop for a while in 2003, before relaunching the brand in 2010.

The good news is it sounds like that could be in the cards this time too, and it might just be another temporary pause.

In a press release, Chevy said they’re not announcing a successor but, “this is not the end of Camaro’s story.” Now people are speculating they might relaunch it as an electric car.
