It’s Trivia Night at Sons of Kent in support of Rise House International.

Cost is $20 per person at the door. Trivia begins at 7pm with some awesome prizes to be won.

This is the 5th anniversary of Rise House Trivia at the brewery.


The Wheatley Omstead Sharks season is over, but not before a hard fought loss in the fifth overtime period.

Game 6 was won by the Lakeshore Canadiens at 12:45am this morning after 145 minutes and 32 seconds of gametime, 85:32 of that in sudden death OT.

Lakeshore won 4 straight games to advance, winning the deciding game 5-4.


Getting to Detroit, Toronto and New York is going to get a whole lot easier beginning next week.

Ride CK announced a new City to City travel option.

Chatham-Kent residents will be able to travel with Megabus between Toronto and Detroit. The new route begins April 5th. Running twice day, seven days a week, the service will offer daily stops in Chatham, London and Windsor.

The new service will based out of the Downtown Transfer Terminal, allowing users a connection between services while also providing a central pick-up and drop-off location.

Get your membership cards ready, the newest Costco in Ontario opened in London Wednesday.

The new store in South London, is right around the corner from the old store. It is 20% larger, and has a gas bar with 24 pumps. There are 800 parking spots – 150 spots more than the former Wellington Road South location. The store also has wider aisles.

Costco Wholesale operates 847 warehouses worldwide and 107 warehouses across Canada. It employs more than 43,000 people in Canada with more than 14,500 in Ontario.

The new store is at 3140 Dingman Dr., just west of Wellington Road.


It’s Opening Day for Major League Baseball.

The Detroit Tigers are in Tampa to play the Rays at 3:10 and the Jays play the St. Louis Cardinals at 4:10 on Sportsnet.

The Tigers first game in Detroit is a week from today against the Red Sox at Comerica Park.

The Jays first game in Toronto will be against the Tigers April 11th.
