U.S. President Joe Biden announced his reelection bid in a video released early Tuesday.
He asked voters to give him more time to “finish the job” he began when he was sworn in to office. Biden also asked voters to set aside their concerns about extending the run of America’s oldest president for another four years. Biden would be 86 at the end of a second term.
The next presidential election is in November 2024.
Every generation has a moment where they have had to stand up for democracy. To stand up for their fundamental freedoms. I believe this is ours.
That’s why I’m running for reelection as President of the United States. Join us. Let’s finish the job. https://t.co/V9Mzpw8Sqy pic.twitter.com/Y4NXR6B8ly

Today is Administrative Professionals Day.
Administrative Professionals Day recognizes and celebrates the work of secretaries, administrative assistants and other office professionals for their contributions to the workplace. Administrative Professionals Day is always observed on the Wednesday of Administrative Professionals Week.
During World War ll there was a shortage of people with the skills of an administrative professional. This was due to the birth-rate decline from the Depression era and booming post-war business. The National Secretaries Association was formed in order to recognize the contributions of administrative personnel to the economy, support their development, and attract workers to the field. During their first year, in 1942, they created National Administrative Professionals Day.
