The deadline to file your taxes is Monday.
In a normal year, the deadline for Canadians is April 30 — but since it falls on a Sunday. As a result, you’ll have until May 1st, to file your 2022 tax return.
On average, the typical processing time for filing electronically can take up to 2 weeks vs 8 weeks if you file by paper.
The Canada Revenue Agency will not extend this year’s tax deadline with the federal public service strike workers walking off the job.
During the strike, you should still file your taxes.
It’s BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) at the LCBO.
They are eliminating paper bags and expect the move to help save 190,000 trees a year.
The LCBO originally switched from plastic to paper bags 15 years ago.
