When it comes to the weather, looks like we’ve turned the corner into Spring.

Environment Canada is calling for highs in the upper 20’s by the end of the week.

Sun, cloud and a possibility of showers today. Sunny skies tomorrow right up to the weekend, with a high of 27 for Friday.


Transit Windsor is bringing back the special events service to Detroit.

The plan is to bring the Tunnel Bus back for early June.

Transit Windsor ran buses for about 200 special events before the pandemic, but has been shut down since. Tickets for the tunnel bus can booked at the ticket window downtown or online when the service becomes available.


The Toronto Maple Leafs return to the second round for the first time in 19 years, might not last long.

The Florida Panthers beat Toronto in overtime 3-2 last night to take a commanding 3 games to none lead.

Game 4, a must win for the Leafs, is Wednesday. If needed, Game 5 is Friday in Toronto.


King Charles III was crowned on Saturday in a historic ceremony at London’s Westminster Abbey.

Also on Saturday, it was announced that King Charles will replace Queen Elizabeth as the face on Canadian money including coins and cash. The design of has not yet been finalized. The change is still months away. All existing coins and $20 bills that feature Queen Elizabeth II will “remain legal tender” even after the new Canadian money comes out.

Canada Post unveiled its first-ever stamp featuring King Charles.

The stamp features a portrait the King was The Prince of Whales.

They’re called “definitive” stamps, which means they’re for general use and will be reprinted, so they’re not commemorative/limited quantity stamps. The stamps are available today.


Mage was the winner in the 149th running of the Kentucky Derby.

The Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports saw Mage, the 15-1 to win for just the second time in his career.

The colt earned $1,860,000 for the win.
