A little bit of everything this week when it comes to the weather.

Spotty showers possible during the morning drive Southwestern Ontario according to Environment Canada. More rain and cool this afternoon.

Looking better for Tuesday and Wednesday, dryer and temperatures rising slightly.

The rain will not stay away for long. The chance of rain will return Thursday as another storm system sweeps across the Great Lakes. The chance of showers will last into the weekend.


The Learning, Earning and Living CK Career Expo and Job Fair is Wednesday at the John D. Bradley Centre.

Employers in the healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing, construction, trades, and other in-demand sectors will be in attendance. Bring their resumes and apply on the spot.

The Job Fair is open 3-7pm.


Just four teams left in the MLB playoffs; Houston Astros, Texas Rangers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Philadelphia Phillies.

The Rangers have a 1-0 lead in the Battle of Texas, after winning the series opener 2-0 last night. Game 2 is this afternoon at 4:37.

The Diamondbacks and Phillies start tonight. Rob Thomson of Corunna will manage Philadelphia in the National League Championship Series for the second straight season. Game one is at 8:07 tonight.


Chatham’s Dave Torrie has been promoted by the Los Angeles Kings to coordinator of pro scouting.

Torrie has been with the team eight years as a pro scout.

The former Maroons president and head coach won a Sutherland Cup in 1999.


The Walt Disney Company celebrates its 100th anniversary today.

To celebrate, they will release a 4K restoration of the feature film that started it all — Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs — on Disney+.
