October 20th is the 293rd day of the year. There are 72 days remaining until the end of the year.

Saturday is CHiRP Day in C-K!

Firefighters from all 19 fire stations, along with community partners will be taking to the streets, knocking on doors, and visiting homes to check your alarms.

Book a CHiRP Check by visiting CKFire.ca or calling 311.

During a CHiRP Home Alarm Check, firefighters visit your home to ensure your smoke & carbon monoxide alarms are working, correctly located & not expired. Have alarms that need replacing? We can help with that too.

If you see a fire truck on your street, come over for a truck tour from one of the firefighters.
