A weak cold front will cause a shift in winds and the cold air this afternoon will cool things off in Chatham-Kent according to Environment Canada.

Overcast and a high of 7 before the cold front moves in. Sun and cloud and a high of 1 for Friday. Three on Saturday and a high of 2 on Sunday with flurries.


The second and final chance to have your question answered regarding the Municipal Budget tonight.

The last Community Consultations will be streamed live on the Municipality of Chatham-Kent Facebook page. Mayor Darrin Canniff and Budget Chair Brock McGregor will be online tonight at 7p.m.

Budget deliberations will begin next week.

It’s American Thanksgiving Day.

Always celebrated on the 4th Thursday of November; it’s been a statutory holiday since 1879.

The 97th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade begins in New York at 8:30a.m.


One of the best traditions of the U.S. Thanksgiving is the football games.

The Lions will play the Packers at 12:30 this afternoon, followed by Washington and Dallas, then San Francisco and Seattle later tonight.
