Daylight Saving Time ends this weekend as we fall back an hour; officially at 2am Sunday morning.

Nothing has changed with the talk from some of the provinces about doing away with daylight saving altogether. It largely depends on what the U.S. decides to do. In Ontario, the province has agreed to make the change if New York and Quebec also agree to do so, and nothing more has come from that in the last three years.

Still, there is an ongoing push for Ontario to stop observing the time change, like the Yukon, Hawaii, Arizona, most of Saskatchewan and parts of Quebec and B.C. that already have, so this may be one of the last years that we have to remember the change.

We will spring forward one hour on Saturday March 10th.

Taylor Swift has added more Canadian shows on her Eras Tour.

She will be playing three shows in Vancouver in 2024. The shows will be over three straight nights – December 6, 7 and 8. The three dates will be the first time Swift plays in Vancouver since 2015.

Tickets go on sale next Thursday and only fans who received an email confirming access will be able to join the queue. Those fans will receive a unique access code and link via text message the day prior.

The Vancouver shows will happen after six dates in Toronto, November 14-23rd, 2024.

A new drink, called Safety Shot, claims to sober up people in less than an hour.

The beverage is expected to launch in time for the holidays. Safety Shot’s CEO says his drink also prevents hangovers.

Created by a doctor using scientifically proven ingredients, the drink allegedly reduces one’s blood alcohol level within 30 minutes using all-natural vitamins and minerals.

The elixir will be sold in 4 packs in the U.S., no word when or if it’ll be available in Canada.
