The average price at the pumps in Ontario will jump up to an average of 142.9 across most of Ontario.

It’s Wild Card Weekend in the NFL.
The Detroit Lions will host the first-ever playoff game at Ford Field. Detroit has not won a playoff game since January 5, 1992, losing 9 straight playoff games.
The Lions will play the LA Rams lead by their former quarterback Matthew Stafford.

Detroit will not be hosting the North American International Auto Show in 2024.
Traditionally held in January, it was moved to the Summer months during the pandemic.
The show will return in 2025 running January 10-20th.
The first step in Canada winning a medal at the IIHF under-18 Women’s World Championship in Switzerland was a success on Thursday.
Team Canada beat Switzerland 6-0, with an assist from Blenheim’s Abby Stonehouse.
Canada will now play Czechia in the semi-finals on Saturday at 9 a.m. on TSN.
The gold medal and bronze medal games are on Sunday.
