Galaxy Cinemas in Chatham has some family-friendly movies playing for the remainder of the week at a discounted price.
On Thursday and Friday the theatre will play Super Mario Brothers, Trolls Band Together, Peppa Pig Cinema Party and Paw Patrol the Movie as part of their Family Favourite Movie Series. The movies will play once in the morning starting at 10:45 am for just $3.99 per ticket.

Free swims and skats continue across Chatham-Kent.
At the Blenheim Gable Rees Rotary Pool, free swims are happening Thursday and Friday from 2:30-4 p.m.
There are also free swim sessions at the Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool every day until Saturday 2:30-4 p.m. with some bonus swim times on Friday and Saturday from 6-8 p.m
Meanwhile, free family skating is happening today at Dresden Arena from 11 am – 1:30 pm

-Wallaceburg Arena 11:30-1 pm
-Wheatley Arena 12 pm-1:30 pm

The U.S. House has officially passed a bill that would lead to a U.S.-wide ban on TikTok if its China-based owner doesn’t sell its stake.
The bill was passed on Wednesday afternoon and will now go to the Senate, which would also need to pass it for it to become law.
Lawmakers acted on concerns that the company’s current ownership structure is a national security threat.
TikTok has more than 150 million American users.
A heads up for dog owners in CK- March 31st is the deadline to get your 2024 municipal dog tag if you want to avoid a $10 late fee.
Every dog owner in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent is required to purchase a dog licence tag for their dog(s) each year.
Dog licence tags can be purchased at any Municipal Office, by mail or over the phone
Tags may also be purchased at Pet and Wildlife Rescue in Chatham. More information on how to purchase tags can be found here.
