A busy first weekend of the Summer in Chatham-Kent.
The Pain Court Truck and Tractor Pull is Friday under the water tower. Admission is $20, kids 12 and under are free.
Also Friday, the Thamesville Threshing Festival begins with the annual parade. A full day of fun planned for Saturday, with fireworks planned for 10:15.

The Edmonton Oilers stayed alive in the NHL Stanley Cup Finals with a win in Florida.
Edmonton beat the the Florida Panthers 5-3, but still trail 3-2 in the best-of-7 series. The Oilers have won the last two.
The series comes back to Canada for Game 6 on Friday at 8 p.m. All games are on CBC and Sportsnet.
Canadians can now return their Amazon orders through Staples.
Customers will need to first set up the return through their Amazon account. Then bring eligible items to a Staples store to be packed and shipped back to the seller.
All 298 Staples stores are now equipped to handle Amazon returns.
Today is officially known in the U.S. as Juneteenth National Independence Day, a federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.
Financial markets and most banks will be closed, as will non-essential federal, state and local government offices.
