East Kent is celebrating Canada Day with a parade, tonight.

Come out to Ridgetown for the parade, beginning at 6 p.m. Parade staging begins at 5 p.m. No registration is required. For more info call/text 226-377-6477.

There’s a concert following the parade at the Ridgetown Legion.


Tilbury’s getting into the spirit tonight too with some Canada Day Fireworks.

The Tilbury BIA is hosting the show at Memorial Park beginning at 7 p.m. with free cupcakes, kids tattoos and balloon twisting on site. Food available for purchase.

The fireworks show begins at dusk.


Free, local, live music tonight…

The weekly Dresden Rotary Club Summer Concert Series concert is tonight.

Spirit of the Sixties takes the stage at 7. Sidestreets will host a BBQ beginning at 6.

Come out for some free music at Dresden Rotary Park all summer, and it’s free! In case of weather concerns, following the Facebook Page for more info.

The Talbot Trail Place Summer Concert Series takes the stage tonight in Blenheim.

Stop by the park on Thursday nights during the Summer for live entertainment between 7-8:30 p.m. The Rotary Club of Blenheim will be on hand serving up hot dogs, pop, water and ice cream treats.

Come by tonight to see Canada’s premier Doobie Brothers tribute band, Listen To The Music.


Tonight is Trivia Night at Sons of Kent in support of Rise House International.

Cost is $20 per person at the door. Trivia begins at 7pm with some awesome prizes to be won.


Today is the last day of school for a majority of students across the province.

CK Recreation released its Summer Fest lineup with all kinds of fun, free things to keep the kids busy throughout the summer.

That includes free rec swims at their pools all summer long. Party in the Park, Beach Days and the Play Rangers will be out all Summer.
