Chatham-Kent is currently under a rainfall warning. Heavy showers are expected to start early Tuesday morning and last throughout the day and into the evening. It will be a little cooler on Tuesday as well with a high of 21C, feeling like 28C with a humidex factored in.
The gloomy weather should be short lived with sunshine expected to return on Wednesday and last for the remainder of the week.
There’s a blood donor clinic Tuesday at the St. Clair College Healhplex from 1 pm- 8 pm.

It was a busy weekend for the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers with just a few more weeks left in the regular season.
The Barnstormers won on the road 5-2 over Brantford on Friday, but fell at home 11-22 against Toronto on Saturday and 5-6 against London on Sunday. The team had no luck against London on the road Monday night, falling 0-7.
The Barnstormers are on the road again Tuesday night to take on The Guelph Royals.
The team only has one more weekend of home games for the regular season including a game against Welland on Saturday at 7:05 pm at Fergie Jenkins field and against Guelph at 1:35 pm on Sunday.
The 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris reached its halfway point over the weekend and Canada picked up some gold medals while also setting some new records.
Swimmer Summer McIntosh became Canada’s first-ever triple gold medalist at a single Olympic Games. McIntosh won her third gold in Paris in the 200m individual medley.
Ethan Katzberg also won gold in the men’s hammer throw on Sunday getting a 84.12m throw. Katzberg is the first-ever Canadian to win Olympic gold in the hammer throw. Canada won its last medal in the hammer throw at the Olympic Games 112 years ago.
Canada has a total of 17 medals overall including 5 golds.
As of Tuesday morning, China and the U.S. are now tied with 21 golds a piece.
