The Chatham Concert Band is back on stage tonight at Tecumseh Park.

This is the 97th year for the Summer Concert Series, the show is free beginning at 7pm.

Conductor Vaughn Pugh will chat with CKMORNINGS at 6:50 this morning.


Only a few days left to get tickets for the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation Igniting Healthcare Summer 50/50.

Tickets for the 50/50 can be purchased online or in person at the Health Alliance Foundation office at 9 Ursuline Avenue.

The draw takes place on August 9th with a guaranteed jackpot of at least $100,000.

The money raised will go towards life-changing equipment and facility upgrades at both Wallaceburg and Chatham locations.


It’s almost WAMBO weekend in Chatham-Kent.

The Wallaceburg Antique Motor and Boat Outing is one of Canada’s largest transportation shows and features antique boats, classic and specialty cars, firetrucks and motorcycles. There’s also plenty of entertainment throughout the weekend.

Things kick off Friday with the opening ceremony at Wallaceburg Civic Park at 5 p.m.

Another gold for Canada!

Camryn Rogers made more history at the Paris Games, by claiming gold in the women’s hammer throw.

Two days ago, Canada had never won a medal in hammer throw at the Olympics. Now the nation is on top of the world in the men’s and women’s category, after Ethan Katzberg won gold in the men’s hammer throw on Sunday.

Rogers gave Canada its 6th gold and 18th medal overall of the Olympic Games , which will wrap up Sunday.


The bald eagle is now officially the national bird of the United States.

Although the bald eagle has been the symbol of America for centuries, it was never officially the national bird of the country.

However, the senate unanimously voted in favour of passing a bill officially designating the bald eagle as America’s national bird.
