The Salvation Army of Chatham-Kent‘s Operation Cover Up is in the collection stage.
Until October 25th, you can drop off new and gently-used winter coats – specifically children and plus sized are needed. Coats can be dropped at Salvation Army locations in Chatham, Wallaceburg and Ridgetown.
Coats will be distributed to those that need them beginning November 4th.
The Chatham-Kent Public Library hosts Movies @ Your Library every Tuesday at the Chatham branch.

The Detroit Tigers season came to an end on Saturday with a 7-3 loss to the Cleveland Guardians.
The LA Dodgers are now playing the New York Mets, while the Guardians advance to the next round to play the New York Yankees.
Heads up! Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday Monday, Garbage and Recycling pickup has been pushed back one day this week.
Friday pickups will be Saturday.
Spotify is raising its prices again in Canada.
The cost of its ad-free monthly subscription packages will rise before the end of the year. Individual accounts are going up by $1.70 per month to $12.69 before taxes, and family accounts will jump $4 to $20.99 a month. Student packages are also going up 40 cents per month to $6.39.
Spotify last raised their prices in Canada just over a year ago.
