The Holiday Smile Cookie at Tims are back beginning today, until Sunday, supporting Pet and Wildlife Rescue.
In Tilbury, every Holiday Smile Cookie sold at the Mill Street location will directly benefit the Tilbury Information & HELP Centre.
In 2023, the inaugural Holiday Smile Cookie campaign raised $9.8 million for charities across the country. The Holiday Smile Cookie is a white chocolate chip sugar cookie, with red and green sprinkles and a hand-decorated smile.
Jake Paul won an eight-round unanimous decision over Iron Mike Tyson on Friday night.
The punches didn’t match the hype in the fight between the 27-year-old YouTuber-turned-boxer and the 58-year-old former heavyweight champion in his first time in the ring in almost 20 years.
Paul made $40 million for the fight, compared with $20 million for Tyson.
Despite buffering issues, the fight show on Netflix was watched by 60 million households.

The United States Postal Service is releasing a Betty White stamp.
The actor known for roles in The Golden Girls, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Boston Legal, and others will be on a 2025 Forever stamp.
The postal service added, “The comedic actor, who gained younger generations of fans as she entered her 90s, was also revered as a compassionate advocate for animals.”
White died in late December 2021, less than three weeks before her 100th birthday. The Postal Service hasn’t announced a release date for the stamp.

The northernmost city in North America is about to go dark.
The sun will set in Utqiagvik, Alaska at 1:27 p.m. today, and it won’t return until January 22, 2025. That’s 66 days without seeing the sun.
On the 22nd, the sun will rise at 1:15 p.m. and set just 48 minutes later.
Utqiagvik, formerly known as Barrow, Alaska has an average of 160 days per year below 0 degrees Fahrenheit. There are, on average, 4,500 residents year-round that live there.
A number of other locations in Alaska will move into polar night in the next couple of weeks. On the flipside, you can be sitting on your porch at midnight midsummer, drinking a glass of beer, with the sun shining in the sky and lighting up the land. Utqiagvik will enjoy endless daylight between May 11 till August 19th.
