Formula 1 is moving the Canadian Grand Prix to a new weekend on the calendar; from its usual June race day, it’ll now be in May beginning in 2026.
Currently the race is in the middle of a succession of European races, forcing teams to travel across the Atlantic Ocean and back for a single weekend.
The 2025 race is scheduled for June 15th.
The Canadian Grand Prix is set to take place in May from 2026 onwards 🇨🇦
With collaboration from the promoter and key stakeholders, the new dates are part of our efforts to rationalise the calendar and make it more sustainable 🤝#F1https://t.co/QpOSR5Jpof
