CKSY, CKMORNINGS and Sons of Kent have teamed up for a Holiday Lager.

The lager offers a couple of classic holiday flavours, with hints of orange and cranberry.

The holiday-themed beer is being sold at Sons of Kent on Adelaide Street in Chatham while supplies last. A portion of the proceeds will go to support the Chatham Goodfellows 70th annual No Child Without a Christmas campaign that is underway now.

The 59th Vanier Cup, the Canadian university football championship, is tomorrow in Kingston.

The Laurier Golden Hawks and the Laval Rouge et Or will kick off at 1 p.m. on CBC.

The Golden Hawks top wide receiver is Chatham’s Ethan Jordan. On Thursday, Jordan earned his third All-Canadian honour and was named to the first team in back-to-back years. He finished the regular season as Canada’s best university receiver, sitting first in receptions (59), touchdowns (10), yards per game (125) and total yards (1,000).

Running back Darion Bacik-Hadden is also from Chatham, but will miss the game with an injury. Both Bacik-Hadden and Jordan are former Chatham-Kent Cougars.
