Donald Trump gave his victory speech early this morning, once it seemed clear that he would win both the electoral college and the popular vote.

Kamala Harris hasn’t conceded yet. She’s waiting until more votes are counted, but it’s extremely unlikely that she has any chance of winning at this point.

As of 3:00 a.m. Eastern, The New York Times had Donald Trump at 267 electoral votes with 69.4 million of the popular vote.

Kamala Harris had 224 electoral votes with 64.4 million of the popular vote. That leaves 47 electoral votes up for grabs. It takes 270 electoral votes to win.

Absentee ballots are being counted everywhere, and the states that were still being contested last night were Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The NFL released its Week 10 Power Rankings, and the Detroit Lions are still on top.

Detroit plays in prime time this weekend; Sunday night against the Houston Texans.

For the first time in 130 years, Japan’s Mount Fuji is still snowless in November.

The lack of snow on Mt. Fuji, a World Heritage site, as of yesterday breaks the previous record set on October 26, 2016, officials said. Usually, the 3,776-meter- (nearly 12,300-foot-) high mountain has snow falling starting in early October. Last year, snow fell on the mountain on October 5th.

The average October temperature is minus 2 Celsius at the summit, but this year, it was 1.6 Celsius, a record high since 1932.
