Chatham-Kent Community Health Centre is hosting a Flu Shot Clinic at the centre today.
No appointment required, just drop in. 150 Richmond Street, Chatham, today 3-7 p.m. and again next week November 12, 5-7 p.m.
These clinics are open to clients and the community.
November is Women Abuse Prevention Month.
The Chatham Kent Women’s Centre is asking us to wear purple or light up your homes or businesses purple to Shine the Light on violence against women. Purple represents courage, survival and honour of women who continue to move forward. When we wear or use the colour purple we are making a statement.
The Women’s Centre is selling scarves, ties, scrunchies, purple LED bulbs and string lights. All proceeds will benefit women and children effected by intimate partner abuse who seek services at the Chatham-Kent Women’s Centre.

Sunshine in the forecast for today according to Environment Canada, with a high of 13C.
Mild temperature sticking around into the weekend with temperatures around 11C, warming to 14C on Sunday, but a chance of rain.
For Monday, Remembrance Day, sunshine and a high of 12C.
St. Clair College will host its Fall Open House on Saturday.
The Open Houses will be held at the Chatham and south Windsor campuses from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Learn about the various scholarships available, tour the campus, meet the faculty.

Starbucks Holiday Drinks are back today.
The holiday drinks and cups are now on the menu; the iconic Peppermint Mocha, and favourites like the Caramel Brûlé Latte and Chestnut Praline Latte are also back along with a trio of new Cran-Merry Orange Refreshers.
This years cups use the theme, Merrier Together with the traditional red and green colour scheme .
This is the 27th year of holiday cups at Starbucks.
