A light dusting of snow late Sunday, with more on the way to begin the work week, according to Environment Canada.

The Chatham-Kent Film Group will screen Thelma Monday at the Capitol Theatre.

Showings at 4 and 7pm. Admission is $10 and tickets can be purchased at the door.

The C-K Film Group screens international and independent films the first Monday of the month. The next film screening will be held on Monday, February 3rd.

Still one game to play tonight, in the NFL Wild Card weekend, but the Detroit Lions already know who they’ll play next weekend.

The weekend wrapped up last night with the wildest ending. The Commanders and Bucs were tied at 20. With three seconds left in the game, the Commanders attempted a field goal to win it.

Other winners: the Eagles beat the Packers, the Bills beat the Broncos, the Texans beat the Chargers, and the Ravens beat the Steelers. The Vikings play the Rams tonight at 8 p.m.

The NFL has released the full Divisional Round schedule: The defending Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs will host the Houston Texans on Saturday at 4:30 p.m., the Lions will play Washington at Ford Field at 8.

On Sunday, the Philadelphia Eagles will host the winner of tonight’s game at 3 p.m., and Baltimore is in Buffalo to play the Bills at 6:30 p.m.

It’ll cost you more to mail a letter today.

Stamps purchased in a booklet, coil or pane will increase by 25 cents, to $1.24 per stamp while individual stamps will increase from $1.15 to $1.44. Canada Post says the one-time increase of roughly 25 per cent on all stamps is needed to keep up with the rising cost of providing letter mail service to Canadians.

The average household will pay $2.26 more per year as a result of the increases and $42.17 per year for the average Canadian small business. The new rates are expected to generate approximately $80 million of additional revenue for Canada Post in 2025.

The Full Wolf Moon will peak tonight.

This will be 2025’s first full moon.

Why is it called a wolf moon? According to the Old Farmers Almanac, it’s thought that January’s full moon got the name because wolves were more likely to be heard howling at the time it would be seen in the sky.

Other names for the moon include the Cold Moon and the Freeze Up Moon.

The next Full Moon will be the Snow Moon February 12th.
