Another member of the Detroit Lions coaching staff has left for a head coaching job. Defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn has been named the head coach of the New York Jets.
Glenn was originally drafted as a Jet and played 8 seasons playing in New York before getting into coaching. He’s spent the last 4 years on the sidelines with the Lions. The defense was a disaster when he took over, but it has gradually improved. This season was his most impressive coaching job, as he kept the Lions afloat despite a rash of defensive injuries.

After being delayed due to the Los Angeles wildfires, the nominations for the 97th Academy Awards will be announced this morning.

Champagne are dropping because people don’t want to celebrate.
The number of Champagne shipments from France sank by almost 10% last year to 271 million bottles, marking the second consecutive year of declines.
The producer of Dom Pérignon says, “Champagne is quite linked with celebration, happiness, et cetera. Maybe the current global situation, be it geopolitical or macroeconomic, does not lead people to cheer up and to open bottles of Champagne.”
