The Coldest Night of the Year is tomorrow.

The Windsor-Detroit Tunnel will be closed Sunday for an emergency response exercise.
The tunnel will close at 7 a.m. Sunday and is expected to reopen before 10 a.m. This year’s drill will involve Windsor fire, EMS and police, along with officers in Detroit, U.S. Customs and Homeland Security. The goal is to prepare for potential emergencies and strengthen cross-border coordination.
The only way to cross during that time will be the Ambassador Bridge.
The tunnel shuts down twice a year, for the Detroit Free Press Marathon and for emergency training.
OH CANADA!
Team Canada beat the United States in the winner take all final of the NHL’s 4 Nations Face-Off tournament in Boston.
Connor McDavid scored at 8:18 of overtime to give the win to the red and white.
This was the first best-on-best international hockey tournament since 2016. The league missed the last two Olympics, but will return in 2026 in Milan-Cortina, Italy.

Kentucky Fried Chicken is leaving Kentucky!
The Colonel is taking his secret recipe to Texas. The parent company for KFC, Yum! Brands, is moving its U.S. corporate office from Louisville, Kentucky to Plano, Texas. But they’re not changing the name to TFC.
Actually, KFC has not referred to themselves as Kentucky Fried Chicken since 1991. Back then, the company was struggling with declining earnings, higher prices and an evil word in its name — fried. So they updated the look and dropped the “fried” from the name.
