mcdo-logoMcDonald’s Canada is testing a vegetable-based burger — again.

The new McVeggie will be tested at a few regions in B-C, Nova Scotia and Windsor (among other locations) until April 14th.

The sandwich, which will come in regular and spicy habanero varieties, has a breaded patty made of carrots, green beans, zucchini, peas, soybeans, broccoli and corn. It comes on a toasted sesame bun and is topped with shredded lettuce and sauce.

The restaurant previously tested a plant, lettuce and tomato or PLT sandwich, made with a plant-based Beyond Meat patty. It was tested in September 2019, but didn’t gain any traction.

The film debuts on Netflix in July.
