It’ll be fairly mild for our first week of March.

Monday will bring a high of 3C with sunshine on and off. We’ll peak on Wednesday with a high of 13C, however we could see some rain.

Temperatures will tapper off by the end of the week, but still be above the freezing mark.


The Chatham-Kent Film Group will screen The Braid on Monday at Galaxy Cinemas.

Showings at 4 and 7pm. Admission is $10 and tickets can be purchased at the door or online.

The C-K Film Group screens independent films the first Monday of the month.


If you or someone you know is looking for work or to change careers, you have a couple of days to get those resumes ready.

A job fair will be held on Wednesday at the John D. Bradley Centre in Chatham.

The Workforce Week Job Fair will feature a wide range of employers from various industries including tech and healthcare.

The job fair will run from 1 pm – 7 pm and attendees are encouraged to bring resumes.

The end of an era.

After nearly two decades, Microsoft is shutting down Skype.

Skype will be taken offline in early May and the company will turn its focus to Microsoft Teams.

Existing Skype users will be able to log in to the Microsoft Teams app and have their message history, group chats, and contacts all automatically available without having to create another account, or they can choose to export their data instead.


Anora was the big winner at the Oscars on Sunday night.

The comedy-romance won five awards including best picture, best actress and best director.
