While Central Ontario deals with devastating freezing rain, Chatham-Kent stays mild.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 8C today with showers. Most of the week should be single digit highs, except for Thursday when the temperature jumps up to 16C.


Today is the deadline to order your 2025 Dog Tags to avoid a late fee.

Every dog owner in Chatham-Kent is required to purchase a dog license tag for their dog(s) each year. A dog license tag is required for dogs over the age of four months.

You can order over the phone, dial 3-1-1, go online or visit a municipal service centre.

The Juno Awards were handed out in Vancouver last night.

Michael Buble was the host.

Tate McRae was the big winner. She won Single of the Year, Album of the Year and Artist of the Year awards.

Canadian music legend Anne Murray was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Punk band Sum 41, who were inducted into the Canadian Hall of Fame, and closed out the awards ceremony with their last-ever performance.


The Tilbury Bluebirds have been eliminated from the Western Ontario Super League playoffs.

The Stratford Fighting Irish wins the semifinal in 5 games.

The Chatham Maroons will play the Stratford Warriors in a semifinal to begin this week. No schedule has been released yet.


Macon, Georgia attempted a kazoo world record on Friday.

1,780 people turned out to break the record for largest kazoo ensemble, but it wasn’t enough. They needed about three times that many. The record is 5,190, set in London in 2011.

It’s the third time Macon has tried and failed to break the record. Why are they so into it? Well, no one knows for sure who invented the kazoo. But the most popular theory is a former slave from Macon came up with it around 1840. So it’s known as the birthplace of the kazoo.
