The Workforce Week Job Fair is today at the Bradley Convention Centre.

A variety of employers will be on site recruiting for many positions including in industries like healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture and more. Bring your resume and be prepared for possible interviews on site.

The Trade War between the U.S.A. and Canada has begun.

President Trump has put a 25% tariff on all Canadian goods crossing into the United States. The only exception is energy and critical minerals which are subject to 10% tariffs.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Tuesday that Canada will impose 25% retaliatory tariffs on $30 billion worth of American products, that will expand to cover another $125 billion in U.S. goods in 21 days.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford is also imposing some tariffs at a provincial level, including having all U.S. alcohol removed from the shelves at the LCBO.

The Blenheim Blades are the only local team to move onto round 2 in the PJHL playoffs.

The 6th seeded Blades knocked off the 3rd ranked Mooretown Flags in 6 games to advance.

They will take on the top seeded Essex 73’s in the PJHL Semi Finals starting on the road. The first home game is at Blenheim Memorial Arena on Sunday. All games begin at 7 p.m.

Environment Canada has a Special Weather Statement in place calling for rain and a possible afternoon thunderstorm today. With the ground still frozen, we could see some flooding.
