Tonight is Trivia Night at Sons of Kent in support of Rise House International.

Cost is $20 per person at the door.

Trivia begins at 7p.m. with some awesome prizes to be won.


CKRecreation is offering another Red Cross babysitting course this weekend.

The course is being held at the Dresden – Ken Houston Memorial Agricultural Centre on Saturday, April 26th. Open to 11 – 15 year old’s to learn how to be a safe, professional and reliable babysitter.

The cost is $61, and you can register here. Spots fill up fast.


The Chatham Maroons are home tonight to play the St. Marys Lincolns. Chatham leads the best-of-7 series 2-1. Puck drop is at 7:30 p.m. Game 5 is in St. Marys on Friday. Maroons Head Coach Richard Santos joins CKMORNINGS at 8:40 this morning.

The Toronto Maple Leafs head to Ottawa for Game 3 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Leafs have a 2-0 lead over the Senators. Game 4 is Saturday in Ottawa at 7 p.m.

Speaking of hockey, the Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) has announced an expansion team is coming to Vancouver. The current six-team league is in the midst of its second season. The Vancouver team will begin play in the 2025-26 season.


The NFL Draft kicks off with Round 1 tonight in Green Bay. The draft continues Friday and Saturday.

This is the second largest event on the NFL calendar behind the Super Bowl.

Last years draft, held in Detroit set attendance records with 700,000 fans attending. The city also set a day 1 record of more than 275,000 fans in attendance.

The Detroit Lions have the 28th overall pick. The NFL Draft begins at 8 p.m. on TSN.


The Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez’s wedding is allegedly going to cost $600 million.

A lot of details are being kept secret, but the wedding date is rumoured to be held in June. The couple got engaged in May 2023. It does appear that the wedding will be held in Venice, Italy. Many believe the venue will be Bezos’ $500 million superyacht.

The mayor of Venice has assured its residents and visitors that the wedding will not disturb the Italian city. He denied reports that wedding organizers had booked large amounts of hotel rooms as well as gondolas and water taxis for transportation. The city also said about 200 guests would be invited and could be easily accommodated.
