The 11th CK Expo is this weekend at the John D. Bradley Centre.

Saturday from 10-6 and Sunday 10-4.

Tickets for annual pop culture show are $15 in advance, $20 at the door and kids 9 and under are free. Full weekend pass is $25 in advance. The event features cosplay, special guests, a games room and more. Proceeds from the event will support the BGC Chatham-Kent (Boys and Girls Club).

It’s Clean Up Day at Kenesserie Camp this weekend!

Spring Cleanup Day is Saturday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Kenesserie is gearing up to welcome 500 campers for its overnight summer programs, over 800 elementary school students for end-of-year field trips, and 15 community groups for retreats and weekend visits.

Volunteers are needed to assist with a variety of tasks, including raking leaves, clearing trails and brush, cleaning cabins, staff housing, and the kitchen, and moving and repairing benches and picnic tables.

Bring along any useful tools you may have. High school students can accumulate volunteer hours by participating in the cleanup day. Any time you can spare is appreciated!

The camp will provide lunch for all volunteers.

Big game 4 win on home ice for the Chatham Maroons last night.

They beat the St. Marys Lincolns 4-1 to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series. Game 5, and a chance to win the Western Conference Championship is in St. Marys tonight. Game 6 is Sunday at Memorial Arena if needed.

The Toronto Maple Leafs win game 3 in Ottawa in OT for a 3-0 lead in the first round of the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Leafs beat the Senators 3-2. Game 4 is Saturday in Ottawa at 7 p.m.


If you’re up early this morning, take a look to the eastern sky. The sky is going to be smiling back at you.

There is a conjunction of planets with a crescent moon this morning. Venus and Saturn will be visible, which will look like the eyes in the sky, with the crescent moon as the smile.

Best view is before sunrise this morning, and sunrise will be just after 6:30 a.m.


Team Canada coaches are coming to Windsor-Essex in search of Olympians this weekend.

Saturday, fifteen coaches will be scouting athletes. Athletes between the ages of 14 to 25 will be placed in “flights” to go through each stage of testing. They will all be ranked and the top athletes will qualify for the National qualifiers.

There is no cost to register, the event will happen at the Dennis Fairall Fieldhouse at the Toldo Lancer Centre on the University of Windsor campus. Click here to sign up.
