Soggy start to the work week, but sunshine and warmer temperatures are on the way according to Environment Canada.

Showers this morning will end by noon, with sun and cloud for the rest of the day.

Temperatures peak on Wednesday and Thursday climbing up to 28C. We’ll still be dealing with wildfire smoke for most of the week.

Tours of the Chatham Jail are winding down.

The tours take place Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. One tour will be held Saturdays from 2-4 p.m. Tours only open until the end of June.

Tours are limited to 10 people and tickets are available for $20 plus fees at eventbrite.com by searching Chatham-Kent Courthouse and Jail Tours. Tours are scheduled to continue until June 28th.

The Chatham-Kent Barnstormers are the hottest team in the IBL.

The Barnstormers have won four in a row after a 2-1 in Hamilton Sunday evening. The win streak started Tuesday in Guelph, followed by a road win on Friday in Brantford. Fergie Jenkins was in attendance on Saturday to see a 14-5 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Jenkins number 31 was retired before the game. Chatham-Kent is now tied for 3rd place, 3 games out of first.

CKMORNINGS will go In the Dugout and giveaway some tickets Tuesday at 8:40 a.m.

New Zealander Ryan Fox won the RBC Canadian Open on Sunday, the second win of his PGA Tour career.

Fox needed a 4 hole playoff to win the title. TPC Toronto will host the Canadian Open again next year.

Nick Taylor of Abbotsford, B.C., was the low Canadian, tying for 13th at 13 under. Taylor won the Canadian Open two years ago.

BowFlex is recalling millions of units of its adjustable dumbbells because their weight plates can dislodge and cause injury to users.

The dumbbells are popular because of their versatility: They allow users to lift dumbbells of different weights, without owning a full set of individually weighted dumbbells.
