The 2025 Sutherland Cup champion Chatham Maroons will begin defense of their title on Sunday, September 14th when they host the St. Thomas Stars.
Maroons will continue to play most of their games at Memorial Arena on Sunday evenings at 7 p.m.
Thousands of giant tarantulas are about to invade parts of the U.S.
They will begin emerging from the ground for tarantula mating season from August until October in search of females. California, Colorado, Kansas, New Mexico, and Texas will get hit the hardest.
The softball-sized spiders will be wandering through campsites, backyards, and across roads. Wildlife officials say the tarantulas will be marching in loose lines. The experts say to give them space as they are not aggressive but can flick painful barbed hairs if threatened.
