The Chatham-Kent Barnstormers begin a four game week tonight in Guelph.

They’ll face the Royals, you can watch the game here:

On Friday night the Barnstormers will travel to Hamilton to play the Cardinals, before Hamilton rolls into Fergie Jenkins field for a Saturday night game at 7:05. The top team in the league, the Welland Jackfish will be at Fergie on Sunday at 2:05 p.m.

President Dom Dinelle will join CKMORNINGS at 8:40 a.m. to talk about the week and giveaway some tickets to an upcoming Barnstormers game.

The OHL is coming to Chatham.

The Windsor Spitfires will play an exhibition game at Memorial Arena in September.

The Saginaw Spirit will be the home team, they are the affiliate of the Chatham Maroons. The game is set for 7 p.m. on September 7th. Tickets will be available at the door.

Today kicks off the annual Amazon Prime Day sales.

The sale kicked off at midnight and will run through Friday, July 11. It’s the 11th annual sale with millions of items in over more than 35 categories including electronics and kitchen, apparel and accessories. It’s is like Black Friday, but for Amazon Prime customers.

The first ever Prime Day sale was in 2015, bringing in just under $1 billion. During last year’s event, online shoppers spent a record-setting $14.2 billion

An annual poll found the top three things we’re looking to buy are clothes and other apparel, electronics and household essentials, like toilet paper.

Jersey Milk chocolate bars are done.

Mondelez Canada Inc. says it’s no longer producing them. The company made the decision to cut the chocolate bar after a review showed consumers have shifted to buying other pure milk chocolate bars like Cadbury Dairy Milk.

Jersey Milk was only produced in Canada and dates back to 1924, when it was developed by Canadian dairy brand William Neilson Ltd.

Many people online are upset, saying it was the best for s’mores treats around the fire.
