If you’re an O-negative blood donor, there is a high demand this summer. This type is prized because it is compatible with all other types, meaning donations can save valuable time “when seconds count,” as hospital staff do not need to check a patient’s blood type first. Approximately 7% of Canadians have O-negative blood. If you don’t know your blood type, you will find out after making your first donation.

The sessions run for about half-an-hour each.
