Skittles, M&M’s, Starburst and Extra Gum will be available free of artificial colours starting in 2026.
Mars Wrigley North America announced that some of their most popular treats — gum, fruity confections and chocolate candy — will be made “without Food, Drug & Cosmetic colors” worldwide starting in 2026.
The first brands to be available without without FD&C colors will include M&M’s Chocolate, Skittles Original, Extra Gum Spearmint and Starburst Original fruit chews.
In June, Kraft Heinz and General Mills announced plans to remove artificial food dyes from some products within the next two years.
The Detroit Red Wings will retire Sergei Federov’s #91 jersey this season.
The Hockey Hall of Famer will be honoured prior to the January 12th game against the Carolina Hurricanes at Little Caesars Arena.
Fedorov is the only player to ever wear No. 91 for the Red Wings and will become the ninth player in franchise history to have his number retired. He joined the Red Wings in 1990, and helped turn the franchise into a perennial winner, winning 3 Stanley Cups in the span of 6 years from 1997-2002. He was the 1st Russian player in NHL history to score 1,000 points, totaling 1,179 over his 18-year career.
