Hosted by the Municipality of Chatham-Kent and Waste Connections of Canada Ridge Landfill.
The drop off is at Veolia Environmental, at 141 Prosperity Way from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The last Household Hazardous Waste day for the year is Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Residents can safely dispose of household hazardous material at no charge. A list of acceptable material can found here.
Heads up, garbage and recycling will be delayed by one day this week because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The Toronto Blue Jays have dug themselves a hole.
They now trail the Seattle Mariners 2 games to none in the American League Championship Series, losing both at home this weekend.
The teams travel to Seattle for games 3, 4 & 5; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Game 6 is back in Toronto on Sunday, if needed.
There’s a blood donor clinic today at the Dresden Ken Houston Arena in Dresden 10:30 to 2:30 p.m.

If you’re unable to donate this week, the next clinic locally will also be in Wallaceburg at the UAW Local – 251 hall on Tuesday, October 21st.

In 1990, there were just over 5 million people in the country with cell phones. By 2000, that number was nearly 110 million. Now, 97% of North Americans have cell phones or smart phones.
