The CP Holiday Train is coming back to Chatham this holiday season!

It will stop at the John D. Bradley Centre on November 22nd at 2:30.

Smash Mouth and JJ Wilde will be performing between 2:45 and 3:15.

The event is free but CP encourages people to bring food donations to help address hunger in their communities. Local food banks will be accepting donations at each stop to ensure those less fortunate have enough healthy food this holiday season.

Since 1999, the CPKC Holiday Train has raised more than $26 million and collected approximately 5.4 million pounds of food for community food banks in Canada and the U.S.

Meta announced Tuesday that it would add new restrictions to teen accounts, using the standards for PG-13 movie ratings as a guide.

Teenagers on Instagram will be restricted to seeing PG-13 content by default and won’t be able to change their settings without a parent’s permission. The company is also adding an even stricter setting that parents can set up for their children.

Meta introduced teen accounts for Instagram in September of 2024, and teen accounts for Facebook and Messenger in May of this year. The company has said that it uses age prediction technology to identify teens who try to pass themselves off as adults.


Your Lay’s Potato Chips are getting a new look.

The classic red ribbon Lay’s logo will stay the same, but the bags themselves will honour the potato that brings us such deliciousness.

According to Lay’s, “The new visual identity celebrates the humble, farm-grown potato — where every Lay’s potato chip starts — and heroes the ingredients.” The redesign features a new sun logo and prominent ingredient visuals, aimed at highlighting the potato’s journey from the farm to the bag.
