We start to dry things out tomorrow, with sunshine expected for Saturday and Sunday’s chores – high of 12C for the weekend.
Temps climb to a high of 14 on Monday, before cooling again next week.
The Chatham-Kent Asian Cultural Association’s is hosting their annual Diwali Festival of Lights Event on Saturday at Ursuline College.
There will be music, dancing and a cultural celebration from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Everyone is welcome, there is no cost.
Diwali is the five-day Festival of Lights, celebrated by millions across the world. This festival is as important to Hindus as the Christmas holiday is to Christians.

The Maple Leafs and Raptors are changing the times of their games this weekend so fans can watch the Toronto Blue Jays play in the World Series.
The Jays host the LA Dodgers on Friday and Saturday at the Rogers Centre.
The Raptors were scheduled to host their home opener against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday at 7:30 p.m., but the start has been moved up to 6:30 p.m.
The Maple Leafs were set to host the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the second half of a home-and-home series, but puck drop has been moved up to 5 p.m. The Leafs have also moved the start time of Tuesday’s game against the Calgary Flames to 6 p.m. Likewise, the Raptors will host the Houston Rockets at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Maple Leafs and Raptors will also show the World Series games on the Scotiabank Arena videoboard following their games. There will also include a beer garden and food trucks.
The City of Windsor is also jumping on the Toronto Blue Jays bandwagon. The city will host a watch party Friday night outside of Windsor City Hall with the game shown on a 30-foot video screen.

The Louvre Museum reopened in Paris yesterday for the first time since one of the highest-profile museum thefts on Sunday.
The thieves slipped in and out of the world’s most-visited museum, making off with eight pieces from France’s Crown Jewels valued at over $100 million. Thieves spent less than four minutes inside the museum using a freight lift, forcing open a window before smashing two displays. They then rode motorbikes through Paris and are still at large.

Crayola just released results from a huge poll they did to find out what our favorite crayon colour is.
The most popular crayon color in the world is cerulean. It’s the shade of Anne Hathaway’s blue sweater in The Devil Wears Prada in the scene where Meryl Streep shames her.
They asked people in 183 different countries and the top three crayon colors are all muted shades of blue and purple: Cerulean blue, Robin’s Egg blue, and Wisteria purple. In Canada specifically, Wild Strawberry is third.
