A cool start to the work week, Environment Canada has issued a Frost Advisory for the area on Sunday night.
Mostly sun and cloud today, slight chance of some showers with a high of 14C. Sunshine for Tuesday and Wednesday, climbing to 15C.
Weekend looks cooler, with a Halloween forecast of cloud and rain with a high of just 10C.
This weekend the clocks will fall back one hour, officially at 2 a.m. on Sunday.
We’ve been losing sunlight the last few months, with this mornings sunrise at 7:56 a.m. and sunset at 6:29 p.m., that will change when Daylight Saving Time ends.


The World Series goes to Hollywood with Game 3 tonight.
The Toronto Blue Jays and Los Angeles Dodgers are tied at a win a piece heading into game 3.
Toronto’s Max Scherzer will start against Tyler Glasnow. First pitch is at 8 p.m.
Game 4 is Tuesday in LA.
If you’re anywhere near Toronto this week, the Rogers Centre will open its doors for Games 3, 4 and 5, where fans can take in the Sportsnet broadcast on the ballpark’s giant videoboard, complete with free popcorn, ballpark concessions and access to the Jays shop. Gates for the watch parties will open an hour before the 8 p.m. start, and tickets are now available now at bluejays.com/watchparties. Tickets cost $15 with proceeds going to the Jays Care Foundation. Tickets for the Game 5 Watch Party go on sale this morning at 10 a.m.
Be careful if you’ve got pumpkins to carve, nearly half of all pumpkin related knife injuries will happen this week.
In the U.S. alone, there are about 2,000 emergency room visits per year related to pumpkin-carving accidents, and they’re pretty much all in the month of October. That number only includes the people who actually go to the hospital – so the total tally of pumpkin-carving injuries is much higher. The majority of those injuries are in the second half of the month.
The study also found your thumb and index finger are at the highest risk, those two digits are the prime targets. Roughly 60% of carving-related cuts involve one of them – or if you’re a real overachiever, both.

LEGO has unveiled a 2,912-piece building set based on The Goonies, the beloved 1980s movie produced by Steven Spielberg.
The set is based on the iconic pirate ship and comes with 12 minifigures, including Mikey, Mouth, Chunk, Andy and Data.
The Goonies set will be available through LEGO on November 1st then hit stories November 4th. The price will be $309.99.
