The Dodgers won Game 3 early this morning with a walk-off home run in the 18th inning, beating the Blue Jays 6-5 and taking a 2-1 World Series lead.

Game 3 lasted six hours and 39 minutes and tied the record for going 18 innings. The previous 18 inning game was in 2018 when the Red Sox beat the Dodgers. That one still holds the record for longest time of game, 7 hours and 20 minutes.

Shane Bieber will go up against Shohei Ohtani on the mound in Game 4 tonight. First pitch is at 8 p.m.


A rare occurrence took place yesterday — a Sports Equinox.

Similar to a solar equinox, when the sun lines up perfectly with the Earth’s equator to signal the change of seasons, the sports seasons from the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL all aligned.

For the only time this year, all the major professional sports leagues had games scheduled on the same day. Of course the World Series, there was Monday Night Football (Chiefs beat the Commanders), a couple of NHL games and 11 NBA games.


Around 183 million Gmail accounts have been compromised following a major data breach that revealed users’ passwords earlier this year.

In this instance, it’s the sheer volume of the stolen data that is most shocking, with the 3.5 terabyte database containing around 23 billion records. One of the biggest concerns is that these logins are often used to access a variety of platforms across Google, as well as for credentials for online banking, cloud storage, and more.

Users are advised to check if their accounts have been hacked. People are also being encouraged to change their passwords and enable two-factor authentication for increased security.


Tonight’s Mega Millions lotto jackpot has soared to $714 million because no one matched the winning numbers on Friday.

Tonight’s jackpot is the ninth largest amount in the game’s history.
