The usual pick-up location has been changed to The Salvation Army Thrift Store, while The Salvation Army Church is under construction. Coats can still be dropped off at the Salvation Army Thrift Stores and drop-off locations.
People in need of a coat can contact The Salvation Army’s Community Services Offices in Wallaceburg, Chatham, or Ridgetown/Blenheim for more information. Check here for contact information.

The Toronto Blue Jays are one win away from their first MLB championship since 1993. The Jays are headed back to Toronto with a 3-2 World Series lead after beating the L.A. Dodgers 6-1.
Davis Schneider hit a home run on the first pitch, and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit another one on the third pitch and they just kept rolling. Rookie pitcher Trey Yesavage had 12-strikeouts for the win.
The teams have a day off today to travel back to Toronto for Game 6 on Friday, and if needed Game 7 on Saturday.

Netflix is adding an interactive feature that will give viewers an opportunity to interact with the content they’re watching in real-time.
Real-time voting will be a feature in select live events, like the reboot of Star Search. Viewers will be able to vote as the event streams, using their TV remote or mobile device if watching in the mobile app. You can only vote if you’re watching live. If you rewind or aren’t caught up, you may miss the voting window.
Here’s how to use the new voting feature:
- Grab your remote when it’s time – you’ll be prompted on screen and will have a limited amount of time to vote.
- Make your selection from the options on the screen. Note: You can only vote once (per profile), and your vote can’t be changed after submitting.
- You’ll see the result of each vote during the live episode.
Tonight is Devil’s Night – or Mischief Night.
Celebrated by kids and teenagers in many parts of the United States, Canada, and the U.K.
Children play harmless pranks on neighbors or family members the night before Halloween. The holiday is the many names it is known by in various parts of the world. In Vermont and New Hampshire, it is traditionally called ‘Cabbage Night’ as, on this night, people would throw cabbages at each other’s homes as a prank. In Detroit and its adjoining areas, it’s infamously known as Devil’s Night.
