The 35th annual Housekeeping Olympics took place in Vegas last week.
Nine teams of hotel housekeeping staff from Vegas hotels compete in challenges. Some of the events include a sheet-tucking relay, a mopping obstacle course, and a vacuuming skill test.
There’s no large cash prize; rather, recognition, trophies, medals, and industry exposure. The event is designed to celebrate the frontline housekeeping, environmental services, and facility workers whose job is often under‑recognised.
