Santa’s first parade in C-K is only a week away!

The Downtown Chatham BIA is hosting Santa’s visit on Friday, November 14th. The parade will have a slightly different route this year due to construction. Marshalling on Sandys St., crossing the Lacroix St. bridge, north on Wellington to King St., finishing at the W.I.S.H. Centre beginning at 6:30. Check here for more information.

On Saturday, November 15th, the Wallaceburg Knights of Pythias will hold their 56th annual Christmas Parade at 6 p.m. This years theme is Christmas Around the World.

St. Clair College will host its Fall Open House on Saturday.

The Open Houses will be held at the Chatham and south Windsor campuses from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Learn about the various scholarships available, tour the campus, meet the faculty.

If you apply for 2026 at the open house, St. Clair College will pay the application fee.

Peleton has recalled nearly 45,000 bikes in Canada.

The recall is over faulty seat posts that can break and detach during use, creating a fall and injury hazard. While there are no reports of incidents in Canada, there have been at least two that resulted in injuries in the U.S.

“Consumers should stop using the recalled exercise bikes and contact Peloton for a free replacement seat post that can be self-installed.”

Cineplex is introducing Monday Surprise Premieres.

Moviegoers can buy a ticket for a major new release without knowing what movie they’re seeing until the lights go down.

The idea is similar to the secret screenings concept used by film festivals and indie theatres for decades. Monday Surprise Premieres will launch this Monday with tickets priced at $8.99.

Cineplex is Canada’s largest theatre chain.
