The December supermoon peaks tonight, shining larger and brighter than a typical full moon.
The December full moon is known as the Cold Moon. The nickname reflects the chilly nights across North America during this time of year. This months full moon doubles as a supermoon. A supermoon happens when a full moon hits perigee, or its nearest point to the Earth, boosting its size and glow in the night sky.

YouTube will now offer end-of-the-year recaps of the videos you watched. Much like Spotify’s Wrapped feature for music.
YouTube has done this before with music, but this includes everything you watched. Everything.
They’ll share your top channels, interests, and the evolution of your viewing habits. You’ll also get a “personality-type assignment” like “Skill Builder” if you watch a lot of DIY stuff. Or “Sunshiner” if you gravitate toward positive content.
YouTube Recap is available now for most users in North America, with a global rollout continuing over the next week.
You can find yours on the YouTube homepage or under the “You” tab. They’re accessible on mobile devices and desktop. You’ll need to be signed in, and if you want, you can share it on social media.
