The Super Bowl matchup is set. It’ll be the Seattle Seahawks vs. the New England Patriots.

Super Bowl LX (60) will be February 8th, from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The game will be a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX that saw a late interception to help the Patriots win.
No team has played in the Super Bowl more than the Patriots, who are 6-5. They’re tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers for the most wins. It’s been a long road back to the top for New England, which came off consecutive four-win seasons and only had one winning season after Tom Brady’s departure in 2020.
Seattle is in the big game for the fourth time in franchise history. They’re seeking their second title.

American rock climber Alex Honnold climbed Taiwan’s iconic Taipei 101 skyscraper over the without ropes or protective equipment.
Honnold pulled himself up using exposed metal beams and small footholds along the exterior of the 508-metre (1666 foot) building. He earned “mid six figures” for the climb.
The climb was broadcast live on Netflix with a 10-second delay.
Honnold is not the first climber to climb Taipei 101, but he is the first to do so without a rope. A French climber scaled the building in 2004 during its grand opening.

It’s prime time for campers to book their sites.
Ontario Parks allows campers to book sites (online at ontarioparks.com or by phone at 1-888-ONT-PARK) up to five months in advance, so now you can book trips for late June.

Groundhog Day is one week away and PETA is once again calling for a replacement for Punxsutawney Phil.

The animal rights organization is urging the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club to end what it calls a “tired tradition of harassing a shy animal” and replace Phil with a giant 3-D hologram.
PETA released an A.I.-generated mock-up showing a 15-20 foot tall holographic groundhog. PETA says the hologram could also be programmed to speak. The organization has offered to cover the cost of the hologram projector if Phil is retired. PETA has made similar suggestions in past years, including proposing a vegan-friendly weather reveal cake last year and, in 2024, replacing Phil with a coin toss.
Phil’s handlers have so far declined to make changes to the tradition.
